Streets are festooned with murals telling the stories of the many Haitians who have made Miami their home; the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.miamiandbeaches.com\/thing-to-do\/arts-culture\/little-haiti-cultural-complex\/5668\">Little Haiti Cultural Complex<\/a> hosts Haitian art and folk dancing; and there are some great commercial galleries, including <a href=\"https:\/\/www.laundromatartspace.com\/\">Laundromat Art Space<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/tranter-sinnigallery.com\/\">Tranter-Sinni Gallery<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>P\u00e9rez Art Museum<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Herzog &amp; de Meuron-designed <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pamm.org\/\">P\u00e9rez Art Museum<\/a> brims with works by everyone from the Mexican fresco painter and muralist Diego Rivera to contemporary Icelandic-Danish sculptor Olafur Eliasson. Among its current exhibitions is &#8220;Allied with Power,&#8221; a selection of African and African diaspora art taken from the museum\u2019s collection and curated to represent &#8220;a kaleidoscope of voices.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Art Deco District<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Miami wouldn\u2019t be Miami without its slew of Art Deco buildings. Find your architectural feet at the <a href=\"https:\/\/mdpl.org\/welcome-center\/art-deco-museum\/\">Art Deco Museum<\/a> \u2014 while you\u2019re there, you\u2019ll also get a crash course in the Mediterranean Revival and Miami Modern (MiMo) styles. Then, get out and about by joining an <a href=\"https:\/\/mdpl.org\/tours\/art-deco-walking-tour\/\">Art Deco walking tour<\/a>, where you\u2019ll be whisked through a delicious assortment of hotels and houses crafted in that familiar combination of geometric shapes and pastel shades.<br><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Vizcaya Museum<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Italianate <a href=\"https:\/\/vizcaya.org\/\">Vizcaya Museum &amp; Gardens<\/a> offers art at an altogether different pace. Here, you can wander leisurely through the historic waterfront mansion and admire Rococo ceilings, marble busts, and Wedgwood vases. Outside, the 10 acres of gardens, landscaped with parterres, constitute a monumental and singular work of art.<br><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Art Basel (Dec. 2-4)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can binge on art this December with the return of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.artbasel.com\/miami-beach\">Art Basel in Miami Beach<\/a> \u2014 the art fair where works by 20th century masters rub shoulders with freshly composed creations.
