Developed by Valerio Morabito and Ugo Colombo, Onda Residences combines the exquisite luxury of Italian interiors with the refreshing breezes and lush landscapes of South Florida to create a unique expression of life as it is meant to be lived. Keep reading to learn about Arquitectonica and Enzo Enea, the team of designers that brought this project to life.<br><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Onda<\/em> is Italian for \u201cwave,\u201d and this central theme guided every decision made by the award-winning architects at Arquitectonica when they were designing Onda Residences. From the very shape of the nine-story building, with its undulating facade mimicking the small waves left in a boat\u2019s wake, to the arrangement of the homes themselves\u2014complete with panoramic waterfront views from bedrooms, living rooms, and private terraces\u2014the blue waters of Biscayne Bay served as the project\u2019s unifying inspiration. The Arquitectonica team created each residence with these waterfront views in mind, wrapping the open-plan homes in floor-to-ceiling windows to ensure that the spectacular water view is highlighted, creating the illusion of each home resting on the bow of a ship as it cuts through the sea.<br><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This illusion is broken only when descending to the ground floor of Onda, which is located on the exclusive Bay Harbor Islands. Here, lush plantings by renowned landscape architect Enzo Enea create the ideal tropical island vibe, complete with swaying palm trees and fern-lined pathways that transition residents seamlessly from the luxury of Onda\u2019s spa to the relaxing outdoor pool or the private marina from which they can embark on all manner of seafaring adventures.
